YOU ARE INVITED; THE WAVE

You are invited!

THE WAVE - 19 June 2025 UK and FRANCE

On the eve of World Refugee Day we gather on both sides of The Channel to simultaneously wave to each other across the water in solidarity and friendship. We create a shared moment of respite and togetherness, both locally and with people across the water emphasising togetherness over division, and closeness over distance celebrating the power of community during Refugee Week.

Art Refuge joins with THE COMMUNITY TABLE in a live Call & Response using cliff chalk found near Folkestone and Calais, linking both sides of the English Channel.
