This afternoon, members of the Art Refuge team set up The Community Table in three settings - refugee day centres run by Secours Catholique in both Paris and Calais, and @fabricagallery in Brighton.
To celebrate the power of these spaces to support mutual care, community and connection, we exchanged images between the tables via WhatsApp, as in the sequence above. In Brighton, photos from the two France sites were printed out and placed on the table for people to respond to.
