PICTURE THIS - ‘WHAT DOES HOME MEAN TO YOU?’ ONLINE ART EVENT & FUNDRAISER!

Writer's picture: Art RefugeArt Refuge

SUNDAY MARCH 21, 4-4.45PM

“Draw your version of home and help Picture This set a new world record for the number of people drawing online at the same time."

On Sunday 21st March at 4pm, Picture This will be asking thousands of people all over the world to draw their version of home - past, present or future. The aim is to set a new world record for the number of people drawing online at the same time.

The challenge is free to join with an option to make a donation through Virgin Money Giving. All donations are divided equally between Art Refuge, which uses art and art therapy to support the mental health and wellbeing of people who are displaced, and Teapot Trust, which supports children and families coping with chronic health conditions through art therapy. Picture This is an opportunity to be messy and honest together. It’s not about being ‘good’ at art, it’s about what art can give us.

Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/.../picture-this-what-does... Price: Free with an option to donate to our two art therapy charities Prompt for drawings: What does home mean to you? Structure: Introduction from Charlotte Lorimer - curator and granddaughter of Norris McWhirter, co-founder and previous editor of the Guinness Book of Records.
