Growth on the Front-Line

BRISTOL

COLLABORATION WITH ST PAUL’S DARKROOM CONTINUES!

During last Thursday evening’s darkroom/photography session, one young man produced a subtle photograph of daffodils that he had taken near to the darkroom building. This was made by pointing the lens upwards towards the flowers, which resulted in a double exposure – unusual for a fixed lens disposable camera.

He explored how dark he wanted the image to be developed, how much contrast he wanted between the petals and the sky. In this way he was able to refine his own preferences. .

This is the first stage of our Photography Project, leading into our AFGHAN BOX CAMERA PROJECT starting in May 2019, funding pending….! PLEASE SUPPORT AND SHARE. THANK YOU! . https://www.justgiving.com/…/artrefugeuk-afghanboxcamerapro…
