CORONAQUILT

Writer: Art RefugeArt Refuge

When people across the world are being asked to isolate themselves from one another within communities, Art Refuge, alongside others, is thinking of creative ways to bring us together. Building on our work with refugees, we are offering art as a thread to connect us, and to offer hope and ways of coping through the coronavirus.

We invite you to sit around a virtual community table and help create a patchwork tablecloth based on Rituals of the Everyday.

Later, when we return to ordinary patterns of life, we encourage you to come together in your local community - wherever it is in the world - to make a physical Coronaquilt. This will act as a collective celebration of resilience and the rituals of the everyday that have carried each individual person through these challenging times.
