CONTAGION - COLOUR ON THE FRONT LINE - AIDA SILVESTRI

We are delighted to share Aida Silvestri’s new work commissioned by Autograph alongside interviews with Anthony Downey and Renée Mussai.

This beautiful work highlights the devastating impact of Covid-19 on ethnic minority communities, and the precarious position of frontline workers of colour in close contact with the virus.

Aida is a core member of the Art Refuge freelance team which is currently using photography and visual art to support men seeking asylum in the UK, housed in the much condemned Napier army barracks in Kent and in a network of hotels across England.
