24x24 DUNKERQUE

Exhibition: October 23 - November 28, 2025

Art Refuge is immensely excited to be present “24X24 DUNKERQUE” - an Exhibition of Photographs taken across 24 hours in June 2025 in and around the northern France city of Dunkerque.

Using the same 24 photo prompts printed in multiple languages, 30 single-use analogue cameras were handed to: people on the move (les exiles), @medecinsdumonde mobile clinic team, and art students and staff from @esa_dunkerque.tourcoing.

The resulting exhibition of photographs is curated by artist Aida Silvestri with Art Refuge. We are sharing here a preview of a small selection of the images.

The project and exhibition mark our 10 year collaboration with @medecinsdumonde on the north France border. It offers the opportunity for contextual and artistic discussion, creative reflection, celebration and thinking forward into 2026. This, alongside a new audience of art students and staff, humanitarian workers, local artists, photographers, gallerists and residents from Dunkerque!
