REFLECTIONS FROM FOLKESTONE

Writer: Art RefugeArt Refuge

And even from the embers there will glow a little light, a very little shining light, as we pass some words across the table, simply for the breath of staying alive.’ - Stephen Watts

As the evenings draw in, and the weather becomes colder we have brought back our bricks and overhead projector to The Community Table with men housed in Napier Barracks. Building churches, houses and interior spaces, playing with shining light, shadows, poetic words and conversation across the table. We are also thinking about the warmth of spices in the coming weeks… Several men said how valuable the space was for them.
