Support from UK MPs

In 2008 we had the pleasure of meeting with some of our MPs who are members of the All- Party Group for Tibet. Two of them kindly sent us messages of support. Harry Cohen, the MP for Leyton and Wanstead has this to say: “I was very happy to recently meet in Parliament Frances Fox and Karen Littleton who briefed me on the work of Art Refuge. I was very impressed at the reaching out, through art, to Tibetan children in exile in both Dharamsala and Nepal.

This is real support, that goes a long way beyond just art, to vulnerable children. It brings much needed happiness,well-being and self esteem to these children

When I visited Dharamsala last year, I was fortunate enough to meet many Tibetan children and I am very glad that Art Refuge UK is both there and in Kathmandu providing such
support and positive experiences for them.
It’s important that we remember the difficult situation facing so many Tibetan children and I applaud such creative efforts to help them.
