Art Refuge UK in Manchester- come along and lend a hand!

Art Refuge is delighted to be attending His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s “Manchester Teachings and Readings” event taking place in June 2012. We will be hosting a stall alongside other Tibetan groups and charities on both Sunday 17th and Monday 18th June in the Manchester Arena. You can read more about the event here.

On the stall we will be selling some wonderful art work by renowned Tibetan artist Sonam Chophel (you can read his proflie .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) as well as some Art Refuge merchandise in order to raise some much needed funds for the charity. Our Chair Frances, will need some help setting up the stall, dealing with any sales and enquiries and promoting the charity on both days. We will also need some volunteers to hand out our brochures before and/or after His Holiness’s talk at the Royal Albert Hall on the (from 2:00-4:30).
