Photo Project in India
Two of our latest volunteers, Clara & Brinker ,have just finished a very intriguing photo project. These two enthusiastic volunteers spent two months in Dharamsala, carrying out a wide variety of projects with the children, including one with disposable cameras, using the resulting images in making memory books. After some detailed instruction (on the use of perspective and portraiture amongst other things), “we went out on little field trips the following two days so each student could use their camera. we had the film processed locally, and the work that resulted was fantastic! We provided each student with a colored paper “memory book” that we made, so they could include their photos, or make collages of photos, and decorate them with writings and pictures. ”
